Clarke County Studio Art Tour a Success

Thanks everyone who supported STOP#1 of the Clarke County Art Tour this weekend Sanctuary on the Trail on the Blue Ridge Mountain. Your words and visit encourage us to continue to do what we can to help bring recognition to the contributions of Indigenous Native American Indian people. Indian Village Huge Success

Preliminary reports indicate the Indian Village held Sept. 17-18 during the Bluemont Fair was a huge success. The fair committee is reporting their largest year ever. Initial numbers indicate more than 5,000 adults and children visited the Indian Village; that is at least 50% of the more than 10,000 people who attended the fair. Many who attended indicated interest in The Gathering 2017 by their donations and support to the 20+ artisans featured during the 2-day event.

Volunteer Anne Rose volunteered during her vacation time to decorate the Indian Village. Hosts Chris and Rene' present Anne a traditional blanket, a symbol of wrapping one's love in show of appreciation to another.
