Workshop: Sharing Indigenous Foods

Our Sanctuary on the Trail family were happy to share some of our favorite Indigenous foods with SIMPLY Shenandoah partners and leaders during a private workshop tonight. Following an all day video-shoot with founding partners, we served up some of our favorite Indigenous dishes - not because we want to be Chef's at the resort, but because we value our Indigenous history, first foods and friendships. In the photo below are Clay Morris Arapaho, Carrie Fox (Lenape), Kayce Heister (Pamunkey), Rene' Locklear White (Lumbee), and Chris (Comeswithclouds) White (Cherokee).
